THE TRUTH ABOUT TRUTH
Truth is not an isolation theory of speculative thought patterns that cease to acknowledge factual conditions outside of its concise postulations. Falsity is still untrue, regardless of who, or how many, may accept it as a positive premise socially, individually, or otherwise. Although belief may appear to be true to those who accept it as valid and tenable, the reality of truths posits remain unchangeable. Declarations of truth regarding, that which is inconsistent to truth’s tenants, are incapable of changing that which is intransigent into that which is positive. Falsehood does not cease to be untrue simply by changing its perception in societal influence and impact.
Postmodernisms problem with truth can be observed in the previous statements. By advancing theories of cohesion, truth can be reduced into components that exist independently. This causes a nihilism of separation to exist, granting speculative theories and posits to function as warps outside of the logical connections that interdependence necessitates. When ideas and conditions are viewed as separate entities, cohesive analysis is applicable only to the thought itself, not to the conditions that may exist outside of the speculative boundaries. A limbo-like state is then brought into effect, similar to the old television series entitled: The Twilight Zone, creating mini-universals as opposed to one consistent thought, or truth, that is in pervasive existence, regardless of what may be presented as an alternative.
Language becomes the tool of thought’s projections. In a proper sense, language and communicative tools are essential for relational variants to exist. Problems arise when definitions and perimeters become nebulous entities, capable of morphing meaning and value based upon individual or corporate designants. This is the case of postmodernisms usage of languages performance abilities. Propositional properties become elusive and intransigent. Statements of belief systems can be validated in this formulation without the supportive analysis of fact. Thus, truth becomes a subjective essence, leaving the normative confines of unprejudiced validity.
When independent truth is discarded for a recalibrated, individualistic perception that which causes universal cohesion looses its ability to sustain reality conceptions for those who become entrenched in subjectivisms snare. Instead of subjecting belief to universal conditions for validation or discreditation, perception of comfort and acceptability accommodates reduction’s power. Self-sufficiency of thought becomes the natural extension of this distortion of truth’s essence. Abandoning universal dictums can cause significant difficulties when attempting to communicate truth’s standards. Even the most ardent adherents of postmodernisms tenants appear to employ functional equivalents that serve as standardizations for thought analysis to exist in a coherent fashion. Without minimal conditions for communications vagaries to exist, nonsensical utterances would reign supreme over the landscape of interagency projections of thoughts and ideas. Human ability to co-exist in social networks would be placed in serious jeopardy, and structured comportment would become a forceful whimsy that could no longer entreat compatible methodologies to bind humans together.
